In November 2025, Croatia's annual inflation rate increased to 3.8%, up from 3.6% in October, aligning with preliminary assessments. A significant contributor to this rise was the inflation in housing and utilities, which climbed to 8.8% from the previous month’s 8.4%. There was also an inflationary uptick in several sectors: alcoholic beverages and tobacco increased to 5% from 4.5%; furnishings, household equipment, and routine maintenance edged up to 0.4% from 0.1%; recreation and culture rose to 3.7% from 3.0%; restaurants and hotels to 7.3% from 6.9%; and communication reached 5.1% from 4.1%. Conversely, deflationary trends were observed in clothing and footwear, where costs fell further to -2.5% from -2.2%, and transport costs, which dropped to -0.1% from -1.1%. The growth rate for food and non-alcoholic beverages, however, decelerated slightly to 4.0% from 4.4%. On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices saw a 0.6% increase, maintaining October’s pace and initial projections. Additionally, the harmonized annual consumer inflation rose to 4.3% from 4.0%.
